About Moonbeam Astronomy Club

We explore the night sky together through shared observation, clear learning, and welcoming community.

Moonbeam is a volunteer-led astronomy club for people who like to look up, ask questions, and learn by doing. We keep our notes practical, our conversations respectful, and our gatherings open to all levels.

Volunteer and non-commercial

The club is organized by members who donate their time. We are not a business, and our priority is reliable community learning rather than promotion or sales.

How we learn

We publish observation notes, constellation guides, and meetup recaps so members can compare what they saw, improve technique, and build confidence night by night.

Who is welcome

Beginners, hobby observers, and longtime stargazers are equally welcome. If you are curious and kind, you belong here.

How participation works

  • Read weekly notes before or after observing.
  • Join local meetups when you can—regularly or occasionally.
  • Share what you noticed so others can learn from your view of the sky.
