What’s happening next under our night sky

A reliable timeline of upcoming club activity, so members and newcomers can quickly see where to join in.

  1. Upcoming

    Fri, Nov 14 • 7:30 PM

Rooftop observing night: Jupiter & Moon detail

Focus: guided telescope turns and a short live walkthrough of cloud bands, lunar shadows, and steady-view techniques.

Practical note: bring one warm layer and, if possible, a red-light flashlight—we’ll have extra binoculars for first-time visitors.

  2. Tue, Nov 18 • Online, 8:00 PM

    Beginner sky map session

Focus: reading seasonal star maps and identifying three easy constellations from a balcony or backyard.

Practical note: join with any device—no prior tools needed; we’ll share a printable map afterward.

  3. Sat, Nov 23 • Community field, dusk

    Meteor watch check-in

Focus: coordinated viewing windows and quick note-taking on meteor direction, brightness, and timing.

Practical note: arrive 20 minutes before peak window so we can settle and adjust eyes to the dark.

  4. Late Nov • Club notice

    Winter meetup calendar posting

Focus: publishing December–January observation dates, indoor backup plans, and volunteer host slots.

Practical note: if you’d like to help host a session, reply through the Join page and we’ll follow up kindly.
